David's AW News: Holes, Bowls and Products Back in Stock!

Greetings from heatwave Sheffield.

I hope you are finding time to enjoy the beautiful weather here in the UK.. I'm so lucky to be here at this time.. but so busy.

It's been a crazy - mad crazy week. The main focus has been the launch of the new big beautiful dropshipping website.. full honest update below.

Last week I was telling you about how we almost lost our shipment of Full Moon Singing Bowls from Nepal.. and how our man James tracked them down and recovered them. If you missed it you can catch up here..

We are so happy to get them back, our new social media girl Holly.. enthusiastically got into the world of Singing Bowls (including the Full Moon Bowls).. and made an info YouTube video for your enlightenment, entertainment and inspiration...  actually Singing Bowls are booming (pun intended ) business.. lovers of singing bowls - that includes me.. are obsessed with them.. will pay big money for the more exotic bowls and spend hours practicing to make the spine tingling sounds. We have an excellent range.. retail from £25 to £300 Check out the video..

Hole in the Road in Bali.

Bali with its flashy beach clubs and huge tourism.. sometimes we forget it's still an underdeveloped country.. with barely functioning infrastructure.. This week a sinkhole appeared on the main road on the northern side of the island, the road that brings heavy trucks including empty 40ft containers on the way to our warehouse for loading.

And they tell me there is no other route that can accommodate a 40ft container trailer. It will take upto three weeks to fix the road, even though according to the local news they will work 24 hours a day.. and just when we have three container loads of stock ready for loading. I can't help thinking there must be some other solution.. This means stock for Christmas will come later than expected..

In other news, this week has been intense as we've been focusing on the launch of our brand new dropshipping page in the UK, that we will soon have available in AW Artisan Europe! So keep an eye out!

Meanwhile in AW Artisan, we recieved some new products in India that you can't miss: from Shell & Silver Earrings to multi-functional Boho Java Art Stole Scarves. Along with some favourites back in stock, like our Palo Santo Burners and Natural Stone Soap Holders.

Greetings from Bali, Indonesia Yes, back on the island of the Gods. Well, after a couple of hectic weeks in China, Coco dropped us at Yiwu airport, said goodbye, and we took a China Southern flight to Guangzhou, where we transferred to a flight to Bali. Greetings from Yiwu, China. Every day is a wild adventure here, far too much to report in an update you will want to read quickly. Tomas and Sandra are here. Sandra is our talented designer from the UK the genius behind our best-selling Hop Hare Brand . David's AW News: Crazy Journey!

Greetings from Yiwu, China Hope you had a Happy May Day Weekend .. hope you were both busy and enjoying the weather! Wow! I just landed after a crazy journey from Goa to Yiwu.  Feeling a little battered.. not sure why. It's crazy that the two most populous nations on earth, who are also neighbours, have zero direct flights . And to make it worse, there are hardly any convenient connecting flights. So on Tuesday afternoon I took a taxi to Goa Dabolim airport with Mr Chatterjee, he took a flight to Kolcatta me to Bengaluru (Bangalore) - we said our goodbyes - Mr Chatterjee, emotional as usual. I stayed overnight at a local hotel and the next morning caught a flight to Kuala Lumpur.  It's the first time I have flown from Bangalore's newish International terminal, I was very impressed.
