David's AW News: Christmas Seriously!!

Greetings from Ancient Wisdom HQ in Sheffield.

Yes I'm back from Spain in the UK.. My schedule this time of year is a little crazy, but it's Christmas and it is what it is.

Last week in Spain it was mission accomplished, I went with Toni to view potential new warehouses and was able to do a deal on a new place not too far from our existing warehouse. Huge offices and a much larger warehouse already racked out, so we can move quickly.. we will actually start moving over Christmas. So exciting times in Spain.

We had the Spain Christmas party on the private terrace of a central Malaga hotel. Very posh, everyone dressed smartly looking amazing. From the terrace we could see the ancient cathedral in the old town light up with a festive laser show and a massive street party below as people come to see the famous Christmas lights. After a formal meal around one large table, I gave my traditional speech (translated by Toni), thanking everyone for their hard work this year, jokingly telling them they are my favourite team (our in joke) and wishing them a happy Christmas etc etc.. Lots of laughter and big Cheers.


So serious, then..

Then Toni, and all his management team had speeches prepared.. OMG.. so serious - it was more like a management meeting or staff review.. Spanish people are supposed to work hard and play hard.. But I guess that is how it is.. then when formal dinner was over.. they wanted to take me to a bar in the Old Town - it's already midnight I protested.. Well then we had a serious party. I made it back to my hotel room (I'd booked just in case) at 4am.. seriously I'm too old for this.

Well that was last Friday night. On Thursday early morning I headed to Malaga airport and caught an EasyJet flight to Manchester, James picked me up and once more back over the Pennines to Sheffield. So once again at AW HQ.. It's crazy busy here still and the team is starting to look exhausted.. Katka told me it's been hard work.. but finally the end is in sight. Another week of madness. 

This year has been seriously busy.. and Dropshipping is smashing all records.

Dropshipping Update.

We have some super customers who have really cracked the dropshipping game and are shipping thousands of orders. Well done guys (you know who you are!!)  - Well I think the online retailing world is in a state of flux, the big Chinese offshore companies - (those dastardly loophole traders) are getting their wings clipped across Europe. The main platform: Shopify is on a roll with innovations coming thick and fast. More and more traders are mastering the API that connects AW products to their stores for more automation. This is the time of the Independent  trader online. 2026 - I see huge growth and massive opportunities.

We were expecting two containers this week.. one from China with exclusive dropshipping products. Only available for you online. Unfortunately both containers have been delayed, but by the new year we have so much in store for you.

Meanwhile in the UK..

Its Tea Time!!

Yes it really is.. this has been a project that Toni (our man in Spain) has been working on for more that a year! With help from Sandra on designer.. beautiful labels, specially made brass Tea tins from India (land of tea) and a fresh and exciting range of herbal teas - mixed and blended in Spain - the ancient melting pot of tea culture.

Basically Andalusia is a natural melting pot for herbal teas.  Andalusia became a centre for herbal and mixed teas because it combined a perfect herb-growing climate with Roman science, Islamic botanical mastery, and global trade—creating a continuous culture of herbal blending that survived long after empires fell. Seriously herbal tea!

So here it is.. seriously steeped in the Ancient Wisdom of Tea Heritage..

David's AW News: About Tomas, Erika and Buddha

Greetings from Trnova, Slovakia. Yes, I'm in our Eastern Europe distribution warehouse.. Our big beautiful (Buddha) warehouse. On Wednesday afternoon, Tomas, Raul (the IT wizard), and me took an Uber to Leeds Bradford airport and boarded a packed and rowdy Ryanair flight to Bratislava. When we landed, all the Slovaks clapped and cheered, have you experienced that? I think only Slovak and Czech people do that.  Last week, I was telling you about sinkholes in Bali and our new arrivals. If you missed it, you can catch up here . Greetings from Bali Hope you are doing well! Last week I was telling you about our Java road trip, we went to beautiful Blitar City and I sprinkled petals in a special place.. if you missed it you can catch up here . I was also telling you what product comes from Blitar City and why you should be selling this. (see below) From Blitar we drove three hours to the nearest commercial airport in Surabaya. The route took us through small rural villages on almost dust track roads in real backwater Indonesia's, occasionally catching views of Mount Lima . Eventually getting to the new toll road then arriving in Indonesia's second mega city with modern fly-overs across the city to the beautiful and efficient airport. The contrast between rural and big city was dramatic...
