David's AW News: Awesome

Greetings from my hometown of Sheffield.

Happy BLACK FRIDAY!!

Hope business is booming for you.

Here is the last trading day of the month.. so everyone is running like crazy..

Yes I'm home and at the HQ of AW. It's always good to be home, even if it's cold outside. Back home with friends and family and the teams at AW.

Well it's just awesome. Last week I was writing the newsletter from the airport in Bali on the way here. From there I flew to Istanbul, and changed flights to Manchester. At the gate I had to pass two profiling checks and somehow avoided a final security search.. slightly scary when your flight has this extra layer of security. It's like they are expecting something.

But anyway from the beautiful art filled airport in Denpasar, Bali to the glamour stuffed stores of Istanbul international terminal.

To erm.. Manchester arrivals....

Well it's just awesome. Like I said lovely to be home. Our man James met me outside and drove me back over the spectacularly beautiful Pennines to Sheffield. It was 10am on Saturday.. and we made it to the warehouse at Affinity park, Sheffield in time to thank the volunteer team that was picking and packing the huge backlog of orders.  In the aftermath of the 30th Anniversary offers.

Yes we celebrated the 30th Anniversary, and by all accounts it was a big success.. parties across the AW world.. from Bali to India to Spain, Slovakia and of course the Mother company in the UK.

My little speech on YouTube got over 170k views - and the promo brought in an all time record orders for one day.. but at the same time we received so many awesome new products..

Including the new Wellness & Gratitude Journals.. New fluffy Dream Journals.. so the combo of the offer and beautiful new products really made things buzz.

I have been trying the Dream Journals this week.. It's like an Intentional thing.. put the fluffy book by your bed with a pen.. read the bookmark details before sleeping.. You will dream for sure and remember the dream by immediately writing it down when you wake up..

I left Tomas in Bali..

Where he is working with the IT team.. and making excellent progress. We have some new team members and some new projects underway.

They are still working hard on the dropshipping websites which are booming right now..  and set to explode shortly (see below).

I was just chatting to him... he was complaining about the Indonesian staff..

5.30pm They never want to go home..

Death of Temu (maybe)

Well I had the budget on the big screen at AW.. waiting for Rachel Reeves to tell us that the De minimis Loophole was closing that a there would be a level playing field, and that all that dodgy stuff coming my air everyday - upto a million parcels a day.. all under a loophole avoiding duty, tax and regulations - including safety regulations.  Blink and you could have missed it.. just one line.. and in the small print we find the loophole will not be fully closed until March 2029.. A lot of people are up in arms.. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE..

I am investigating a Class Action against Temu trading unfairly.. It's happening in other European countries.  A million parcels a day could have been stealing 20% of your business through unfair and unregulated business. Imagine you could claim that back.

So Register Now.. in your down time this Christmas you could be creating a new income stream.

Anyway thank goodness we have Temu proof products to fall back on.. and if Temu is regulated soon then at least - YOU can grab a share of that online market via AW-Dropshipping.. API working well for Shopify, WooCommerce and I'm told Ebay is getting better by the day.

And check out our Cyber Monday offer of 15% off selected products! See here.

Take care - have a lovely weekend.

David
